Upon arrival at the airport in Sanliurfa, you will meet your guide that will lead to Gobeklitepe to visit the site. You’ll be surprised how people built this structure 10,000 years BC using stone tools. After walking at the site of the excavation, it will be taken back to Sanliurfa for lunch at a local restaurant where you can taste the delicious flavours of southeast Turkey. After lunch, we will visit the Sanliurfa Archeological Museum, The Sanliurfa Archaeology and Mosaic Museum is a great place to experience the history of this biblical land. Located close to the sacred pool, following its rebuild in 2015 it became one of the largest museums in Turkey. The museum offers recreation beside explore the 34,000 square metre interior with restaurant, library, market, and even a playground for children. After that, we will visit Abraham Lake, Legend has it that Abraham was born and raised here and that he incurred the wrath of King Nimrod when he not only declared war on idolatry but also won the heart of the king’s daughter, Zeliha.
