About this tour

We will pick you up from your hotel (city center hotels), then you will meet with your group and guide at the meeting point. We will visit, Dolmabahce Palace, Royal Garden of Dolmabahce Palace, Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan Mosque, The Clock Tower, Bosphorus By Boat, Rumeli Fortress (from the sea), Pierre Loti Hill, Cable Car, Golden Horn (by bus), City Walls (by bus). Dolmabahce Palace: Situated on the European shores of the Bosphorus. It was built between 1843 and 1856. by Karabet Balyan, the architect of Sultan Abdulmecid with elements of rococo, baroque style. The palace witnessed some of the key events in Turkey’s recent political history. In 1877. The First Parliament convened in the Grand Hall. Ataturk died in room number 71.

Royal Garden of Dolmabahce Palace: This beautiful garden where you can walk and enjoy the view of the palace and Bosphorus.

Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan Mosque: Located next to Dolmabahce Palace. The mosque was built for the Sultan Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan, the mother of Abdulmecid. Decorations were inspired by the French Empire style.

The Clock Tower: Stands in front of Dolmabahce Palace. It was built during the reign of Abdulhamit II. Clock tower such as this in that period was built to inform people when is time for praying.

Bosphorus By Boat: An amazing cruise between Europe and Asia, along the Bosphorus (you will see from the boat Rumeli Fortress, Ciragan Palace, Ortakoy Mosque, Military High School, Bosphorus Bridge, Beylerbeyi Palace).

Pierre Loti Hill: Located in Eyup, district of Fatih, on the European side of Istanbul. The name was given by the French author of the famous novel ‘’Aziyade’’. It is said that the Aziyade was the name of the Ottoman woman with whom Pierre fell in love. The name of the hill was given by him because he supported the Ottoman Empire. On the hill, there are tea houses and restaurants with a panoramic view of the old and new part of Istanbul.

Cable Car: From Pierre Loti Hill to the Golden Horn. Golden Horn (by bus)-It has long been a natural harbor of the city and favored meeting the sweet waters.

City Walls (Byzantine Walls by bus): These were built by Constantine the Great, they surrounded and protected the city of Constantinople.
