Dolmabahce Palace built by Karabet Dalyan between the years 1843 and 1856, the court architect of Sultan Abdulmecid, The Dolmabahce Palace presents a mixture of different European architectural styles from which you can’t take your eyes off. It contains 285 rooms, 46 halls, 6 baths,(hamam), and 68 toilets. With its glamorous, magnificent, and of course original decorations, furniture, silk carpets, curtains, and so on The Dolmabahce Palace was the main administrative center of The Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1922. It leaves behind the world’s many other famous palaces both in wealth and magnificence.
Bezm- i Alem Mosque was completed by Sultan Abdulmecid the son of Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan, after he lost his mother, the mosque was originally backed by Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan herself and was also known as Dolmabahce Mosque. After completed in 1851, it was opened for prayer. For a while, the mosque was used as a sea museum between 1948-1961 years. Today it is still open for prayer.
