A Journey of Remembrance: Gallipoli Battlefields Tour
We depart early in the morning for a moving journey to one of the most poignant sites of World War I: Gallipoli. Around 12:30, we pause in Eceabat for a short break before heading to the battle-scarred lands where bravery, loss, and humanity intertwine.
Our first stop is the Lone Pine Memorial, dedicated to the Australian soldiers who fought with unwavering courage. We then continue to the Chunuk Bair Memorial, a powerful tribute to New Zealand’s fallen, standing as a symbol of their strength and sacrifice.
At ANZAC Cove, we take a quiet moment to honor the memory of all who served and reflect on the enduring spirit they left behind. We then visit Johnston’s Jolly, a place where remnants of trenches still whisper stories of struggle and endurance.
This deeply emotional day draws to a close as we return to Istanbul in the evening, arriving at approximately 22:00. More than just a tour, this is a timeless journey through history, remembrance, and respect.
